We don't believe in micro-managing. This will be a new position you will help create. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Estimator to join our team. As a Project Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs and resources required for construction projects. Your expertise in construction estimating software and project management will be crucial in ensuring the success of our projects.

```Duties```
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Preparing contracts and negotiating revisions
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Developing and managing schedules with field leadership
- Prepare inventory forecasts and manage inventory levels for key products and supplies.
- Utilize construction estimating software to create detailed cost breakdowns
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that outline project scope, costs, and timelines
- Evaluating risk and loss exposure on projects managed
- Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Review and analyze subcontractor bids to determine the most competitive pricing
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of estimates
- Issue purchase orders and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery
-Document and update statuses for open purchase order and production orders
- Manage key vendor relationships to ensure responsiveness and effective support
- Research and source potential new vendors for materials as needed
-Create and update weekly production calendar for in-house production team
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide updates as needed
- Assist in value engineering efforts to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Demonstrating dedication to safety and quality control on all projects
```Qualifications```
- Proven experience in construction estimating and project coordination
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering or 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in construction management software and also experience with Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of industry-standard estimating practices and techniques
- Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Solid understanding of contract documents and terms

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
